Energiespeichermotor AC
Millions of motors for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) applications have been in place for decades. However, regulations globally continue to tighten the energy efficiency
What is an AC motor?
An AC motor is an electric motor driven by an alternating current (AC). The AC motor commonly consists of two basic parts, an outside stator having coils supplied with alternating current to produce a rotating magnetic field, and an inside rotor attached to the output shaft producing a second rotating magnetic field.
How to optimize AC motor efficiency?
To optimize motor efficiency, the air gap should be as small as possible, as larger gaps require more power to achieve adequate magnetization. In AC motors, heat accumulates in the windings, necessitating an internal cooling system.
Who invented AC motor?
In 1886, English engineer Elihu Thomson built an AC motor by expanding upon the induction-repulsion principle and his wattmeter. In 1887, American inventor Charles Schenk Bradley was the first to patent a two-phase AC power transmission with four wires. [citation needed]
