Design der Docking-Lösung für Energiespeicherbatterien
The design of solar docking station to charge mobile phones, laptops and illuminate LED lamps with required back up time is elaborated. The solar docking station is
What is a docking station?
A docking station consisting of solar panel array, DC-to-DC converter and batteries was designed. Compatibility with hydrogen electrolyzer was considered with emphasis on efficiency. Two separate tracks for plug-in vehicle were followed: a) Electric Energy Conversion; and, b) Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell.
What is a docking mission?
The start point of the docking mission is P3 whose depth is above the docking station to prevent stranding. Then, the vehicle turns around and seeks the signal response from the acoustic beacon. When AUV gets the response from the beacon, it will dive to the depth of the docking station and prepares the final approach.
Can a docking station charge both solar electric vehicles and fuel cells?
When there is shortage of solar energy, the vehicle can be charged with the grid power supply. presented a performance analysis of design of a docking station that can charge both the solar electric vehicles and vehicles powered by fuel cells.
How can a docking station prevent DS?
To prevent obvious rotation of DS caused by the wave effects on the surface vessel, two anchor chains in position fore and aft are fixed to the shore land, respectively. The ADMAS simulation result indicates that a large mass ratio of the docking station to AUV would reduce the impact times and increases the success rate of docking operations.
How big is a docking station?
The length and diameter of the AUV is 2.15 m and 0.18 m, with a weight of 65 kg in air. The geometry of the docking station (length*width*height) is 2m*1.1m *1.1m, which is suspended underwater through a taut winch cable from the surface vessel. The length of the cable allows to deploy the docking station to a maximum depth of 100 m.
What is a docking operation test?
The main objective of the tests is to validate the feasibility of docking to a suspended station, as well as the performance of contactless power and data transfer module. One critical step before docking operation tests is to calibrate the pressure sensors installed on the AUV and DS in a same pressure vessel.
